ANIMAL CONTROL BY-LAW
Every owner of a dog in the Township of Georgian Bluffs, within one week after the dog comes into their possession, shall cause the dog to be registered and licensed at the office of the Clerk of the Township of Georgian Bluffs for the balance of the calendar year, January to December. Tags are available at the Township office, and representatives come around to residences in March and April with dog tags.
No owner shall allow a dog to run at large or trespass in the Township of Georgian Bluffs. A dog is deemed to be at large when found in a place other than the premises of the owner of the dog and not under the control of any person, certain exemptions under the By-law apply.
Set Fine - Owner allowing/permitting dog to run at large - $125.00 including cost.
The maximum number of dogs per household except for Guide Dogs, Police Work Dogs, Working Dogs or Hunting Dogs shall be restricted to three (3) unless licensed under a kennel or breeding or boarding establishment license.
Set Fine - Owner keeping more than three (3) dogs

TOPSOIL REMOVAL BY-LAW
No person shall remove topsoil within the Township of Georgian Bluffs exept under the authority of a permit issued by the municipality. Some exemptions apply in the By-law. spacer
GEORGIAN BLUFFS TRAILS BY-LAW
Unauthorized motor vehicles include an automobile, motorcycle, motor assisted bicycle and any other vehicle propelled or driven otherwiese than by muscular power, but does not include a motorized snow vehicle, farm tractor or (ATV) all terrain vehicle. No person shall operate or cause to be operated an unauthorized motor vehicle on the trail except in the course of construction, maintenance, enforcement or emergency purposes or where the prior approval of the Township has been obtained in writing. No person shall operate or cause to be operated an ATV on the trail without first obtaining a trail permit from the Township and paying an annual permit fee of $20.00 (proof of insurance is required). A trail permit is valid from April 1st to November 30th) of each year.

KENNEL-BREEDING-BOARDING ESTABLISHMENT BY-LAW
No person shall, in the Township of Georgian Bluffs, operate, own or control a kennel or breeding and boarding establishment unless he/she procures a license to to so.
PERMIT ALL-TERRAIN VEHICLES ON MUNICIPAL ROADS
A by-law to permit all-terrain (ATV's) vehicles on municipal roads provided certain equipment requirements are met.

NOISE BY-LAW
Without the express written permission of Council or to warn of danger or emergency, no person shall make loud or unusual noises or noises likely to disturb the inhabitants of the Township or allow or permit such noise.
SIGN BY-LAW
No person shall erect any sign on any lot or attached building or structure except in accordance with the provisions outlined in the by-law. A permit must be obtained from the Clerk and receive approval from the Council of the Township of Georgian Bluffs.
SALVAGE & SECOND HAND GOODS BY-LAW
No person shall operate or cause to be operated within the limits of the Township of Georgian Bluffs any Salvage Shop, Salvage Yard, Second-Hand Goods Shop, Pawn Broker's Shop or deal in second-hand goods, without first having obtained a license.
SPECIAL SALES BY-LAW
No owner of property in the Township of Georgian Bluffs shall allow or permit a special sale (garage sale, yard sale, lawn sale, etc.) more than three times in any calendar year.
TRAILER BY-LAW
No person shall occupy a trailer in the Township of Georgian Bluffs, except in certain designated areas as per the by-law, without a permit.
LICENCE REFRESHMENT VEHICLES
To provide for the Licensing and Regulation of Refreshment Vehicles.
A refreshment vehicle shall mean any vehicle from which refreshments are sold for consumption by the public and shall include a motor vehicle, motor assisted bicycle, trailer, unmotorized vehicle, bicycle, tricycle and any other vehicle drawn, propelled or driven by any kind of power, including muscular power.

A by-law to regulate the collection and disposal of garbage, refuse, compostables, recycling and hazardous materials in the Township of Georgian Bluffs.
