Committees
Township business is conducted through four main standing committees, two emergency services boards, as well as cemetery and volunteer recreation committees.
Alot of municipal business is introduced and reviewed by these Committees before being recommended to Council. Committees meet once every month.
Environmental Committee
Meets every 2nd Tuesday of the month at 7:00 p.m regarding such issues as waste collection and disposal , water systems, sewage lagoon, and other environmental matters that are brought forward to the Committee.
Rec & Property Committee
Meets the 1st Monday of every month at 3:00 p.m. about issues such as community centres, parks, municipal buildings, by-law enforcement, building construction, recreation, and other similar matters that may be brought forward from time to time.
Finance Committee
Meets the 3rd Tuesday of every month at 5:15 p.m. regarding the Township's financial position, property tax issues, auditing and performance measures, capital assets, and any other issues related to the financial performance of the municipality.
Transportation Committee
Meets the 4th Monday of every month at 3:00 p.m. about road maintenance and construction, public and private drainage, property access, equipment, winter control, and similar things that may arise with the Commitee.

Council & Committee of the Whole Meeting Dates
If you wish to make a presentation to Council, you should contact the Township Clerk, Bruce Hoffman bhoffman@georgianbluffs.on.ca at least one week before the scheduled meeting. There is also time set aside at every Council meeting for questions from the public.

The Township is represented on the Police Services Board which meets 6 times a year. All meetings are open to the public.

The Township is also represented on the Inter-Township Fire Board by Mayor Alan Barfoot, Deputy Mayor Dwight Burley and Councillor Robert Lennox. The Board meets on the 2nd Tuesday of every month at the Inter-township Fire Department at 3:00pm.
