R.I.D.E. CHECKS CONDUCTED ANYWHERE….ANYTIME
(CHATSWORTH, ON)– Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are conducting R.I.D.E. (Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere) checks throughout their jurisdiction during the annual Festive R.I.D.E. campaign which began November 24, 2014 and continues through to January 2, 2015.
Despite the OPP’s continued effort to educate and increase public awareness surrounding the issues of impaired driving, the number of impaired drivers arrested during R.I.D.E. checks has risen.
The Town of South Bruce Peninsula has initiated a Municipal Class Environmental Assessment (Class EA) to evaluate alternatives to potentially expand the Wiarton Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP)
